An understanding of the various flat lapping and polishing machines will help decide what and whose equipment is right for your specific requirements. Please note that every equipment manufacturer's advertising will say that their machines are top of the line. Our over 40 years equipment experience covers tiny machines 2" x 4" up to machines with 84" tables. Our process experience spans from polishing one NASA wind tunnel for 60 days to developing a lapping and polishing process for smaller parts 3/4" x 1 3/4" to produce 38,000 parts per day. Materials range from plexiglass and gold to sapphire and silicon carbide.
